Just Resting Your Eyes is a site-specific exhibition exploring love, memory, and dreams across three generations. My multidisciplinary works are inspired by family folklore and examine societal expectations of women, particular after marriage. The title references a phrase my father used throughout my childhood and makes a connection between the many moments we all close our eyes - to daydream, embrace, kiss, weep, sleep, dream, and die.
